Founded in 2002, Maryland International Soccer League is a complete soccer for adults and 18 years and younger. We have two high school stadium fields plus 3 additional fields. The league also plays in artificial fields. Going into the third year with two divisions: First and Second. The First Division is a good level of soccer, the Second Division gives teams more flexibility and opportunities compete at the second highest level.

Historia

La liga se inició en el año 2003 con 8 equipos y se jugarón 2 torneos en el mismo año. La idea de la liga surgió del presidente Armando Portillo. Desde de el comienzo, los equipos han venido incrementando como tambien el nivel de fútbol. El promedio de equipos en los ultimos cinco ano es de 26. La seguridad y por su organizacion, la liga ha llegado a ser una de las mas populares en toda la area Metropolitana.

History

The league started in 2003 with eight teams and in that year we had two league tournaments. The idea of founding the league came from the president himself Armando Portillo. Since the beginning, the number of teams increased so did the level of playing. The last five years the league has had an average of 26 teams. Our organization has become on the most popular in the metro area.
